Tomorrow we will be organising the second in our new series of junior running events.
Starting at 10 am on North Moor , our timed 2k run is open to all children from age 4 to 14 years.
We plan to continue with a monthly free to enter , all abilities, run on the second Sunday of each month.
Based very much on the Junior parkrun scheme by parkrun UK we hope eventually to raise enough money to get it formally accepted by parkrun UK but that might take some time. We plan to publish results each month and to show progress through out the year. We can only do this with help from family and friends and members of Langport Runners.
A race report will be posted after the event.
This Blog was started because Nicky was trying to raise money for a charity whilst having fun running across the Sahara desert. I'm now changing its aim to concentrate on our Junior club events Especially our fun run on Northstreet Moor
